QualTech Installs Another Juki Placement System
QualTech President David Vance proudly shows off new Juki placement system.
Morrisville, NC — QualTech Technologies, Inc., a high-reliability EMS company located in the Cleveland area, has invested and successfully installed a KE-1070/KE-1080 Modular Placement System to accompany its existing four Juki placement machines. The new equipment provides QualTech with added capacity as well as the ability to place microBGAs and ultra-small components down to 01005. The KE-1070/KE-1080 machines are intended to meet the need for reliable, cost-efficient placement solutions for the midrange market. The KE-1070 and KE-1080 are built using the same topology as the popular KE-2070/KE-2080 machines that have had tremendous success in the marketplace.
The KE-1070 has a four-nozzle head with a rated IPC9850 speed of 15,500 CPH and a component placement range from 01005 (0402 metric) to 33.5mm
and adds a fifth nozzle to handle larger parts.
