Kwikmark: Automated Tag Marking System
Automated tag marking system.
McHenry, IL — The Kwikmark magazine tag transfer feeder has been developed to eliminate the problematic tag feeding issues of tags escaping from the bottom of a magazine. The unit feeds tags to the programmable marking station, which marks the tag and drops the finished item down a chute to a receiving container.
The system's design means it can easily handle unusually shaped tags and parts. Its vertical magazine "lifts" tags to the top. There are no escapements or "coin change" mechanisms to jam, and the machine accommodates tags with coarse cuts, bent edges, and thickness variations. Operation is not affected by weight of stack or near empty or full magazine, and the transfer system requires no track "width" guides or adjustments.
The machine easily handles thin tags; no "push" type escapement required. It will not scratch pre-printed tags from sharp or rough edges. The machine provides much faster changeover if using tags of different size and thickness, and no changeover tooling is needed.
The machine is available with Print Queue Driver, which allows multiple users to download job menus, variables, quantities, etc.
