Calex DC/DC Converters Meet COTS Requirements

Concord, CA — Calex Manufacturing Company, Inc. is offering cost-effective commercial off-the-shelf DC/DC solutions from 0.25 to 400 Watts. In addition to off-shore production capability, the company offers complete turnkey production in its Concord, California facility. With four SMT work centers, this domestic facility can cost-effectively handle high mix, low volume requirements as well as large volume runs.
For military applications where US content is required, the company can provide cost and pricing data to support prime contractor documentation requirements. Standard products range from wide input range (9 to 36VDC and 18 to 75VDC) 10 to 400W bricks to MIL-1275 compliant power quality modules and MIL-461 compliant filter modules. Calex also offers custom modular and box build solutions to meet special ruggedized requirements.
Calex treats its export responsibilities with the utmost importance and is ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) registered with the US Department of State.
The company's COTS products are categorized as dual use (EAR 99) by the Department of Commerce. Its fully encapsulated solutions meet the rigorous requirements of military applications while also meeting the price-sensitive needs for industrial and commercial applications.
