Sapient Intros Avenger Vertical Carousel
Doylestown, PA — Sapient Automation has introduced its new Avenger Vertical Carousel. The unit unveils a new arm design (patent pending), which eliminates the number one historical failure point of such machines. The Avenger uses a double-reinforced arm and forging assembly that attaches to the chain singularly to avoid critical cascading failures, known to destroy multiple carriers with one incident.
In addition to using a double- rather than single-scissor arm design, the Avenger uses a forging rather than a pin to attach the arms to the rollers in the guide track.
Finally, the Avenger vertical carousel's arms mount to the chain in their own exclusive position. If there is any pressure or stress, it is not passed through to the other arms. This further eliminates the potential for any cascading effect and unit failure.
In addition to added safety and durability, the Avenger Vertical Carousel has been designed to use 45 percent less energy than comparable machines. This reduced energy consumption will allow "green conscious" Custom Field 6 organizations to utilize the new Avenger Vertical Carousel in their sustainability programs. This improved design also helps the company to offer up to a 10 year warranty on some models.
