Regal Electronics Adds Mini-Din Filter Option
Mini-DIN connectors with noise filtering.
Sunnyvale, CA — Regal Electronics, Inc. has added optional noise reducing ferrite filtering to its line of mini-din Connectors. Use of the ferrite filter improves common mode (conducted) noise rejection, and makes available to design engineers the extensive selection and performance of the company's mini-din line, even for use in tough EMI environments.
The new mini-din connector reduces common mode noise by integrating an optional ferrite filter right into the connector base. In addition to reducing common mode noise before it enters the connector assembly, there are the added benefits of controlled insertion loss and higher reliability since there are no solder joints to fail.
The new filtered mini-din connectors are available immediately for prototype applications.
