Zestron Improves Bath Analyzer
Bath analyzer kit.
Manassas, VA — Zestron America has made improvements to its Zestron
Bath Analyzer 10. To further facilitate its user-friendly handling, a digital thermometer displaying both, Celsius and Fahrenheit has been added to the tool case.
Since its introduction to the market in 2009, the Bath Analyzer 10 has been widely used in the electronics manufacturing industry to measure the concentration and indicate the alkalinity of baths containing Atron
Developed as an alternative to the Refractive Index method, the Zestron Bath Analyzer was specifically designed to monitor chemical bath concentrations irrespective of dissolved organics such as fluxes, and almost as accurately as Gas Chromatography, but at a much lower cost. This methodology allows users to optimize their processes and save money by extending the overall bath life and thus, avoiding unnecessary and costly chemical replenishments. According to the company, the new kit is easy to use and time-efficient. One case includes all the necessary tools to measure concentration and a simple color coding system indicates the bath's alkalinity. In addition, it can serve as a calibration metrology for refractive index measurements by controlling any deviation caused by flux loading.
