Creform Intros Picking & Kitting Cart
Picking and kitting cart.
Greer, SC — Creform® Corporation has introduced a new design in picking carts that provides a combination of good ergonomics, safe handling within manufacturing or warehouse facilities, and sustainability through ease of modification. The carts have three angled shelves on each side that can hold either totes or boxes canted toward the outside to provide good load/unload access. Vertical compartments below the shelves provide convenient storage for tote lids to protect contents during transport. The open design lets the associate see through the structure for good visibility when moving carts.

The shelves can hold open boxes or totes for order picking and/or kitting. Because the carts are built using the company's system of plastic coated steel pipes and metal joints, they are easy to assemble and then modify as needs change. For example, with minimal effort, the shelves can be repositioned using a few simple tools to accommodate different sized boxes.

The cart typically has a 36 x 64-in. (0.9 x 1.6m) footprint, a 750-lb. (340kg) capacity and six 4-in. (102mm) diameter rubber wheeled stem casters. Two center casters are fixed for good directional control and the four corner casters have brakes for secure positioning. The carts can be built with different colors of pipe for color coding or ESD pipe and joints for handling static-sensitive products.
