Trek Intros High-Voltage Amplifiers
Three new power amplifiers.
Medina, NY — Trek, Inc.,has introduced its 2200 Series of 40Watt High Voltage Amplifiers. The 2200 Series offers a desirable combination of high performance and attractive pricing. The three initial models of the 2200 Series — Model 2205, 2210 and 2220 — provide output voltage ranges of ±500V, ±1kV, ±2kV respectively. The 40 Watt reference equates to 40 watts peak, 20 watts rms.
The 2200 Series delivers additional value since the units are CE marked, RoHS-compliant, and HALT-tested.
The industries and commercial applications that will benefit from the new units are diverse and include aerospace, biotechnology, defense, electronics, military, power, R&D and semiconductors. Primary specifications for the three 40Watt high voltage amplifiers: Model 2205 provides precise control of output voltages in the range of 0 to ±500VDC or peak AC with an output current range of 0 to ±80mA peak; AC and large signal bandwidth DC to 75kHz (-3dB). Model 2210 offers precise control of output voltages in the range of 0 to ±±1kVDC or peak AC, output currents in the range of 0 to ±40mA peak AC, and large signal bandwidth DC to 40kHz (-3dB). Model 2220 provides precise control of output voltages in the range of 0 to ±2kVDC or peak AC with an output current range of 0 to ±20 mA peak AC and large signal bandwidth DC to 7.5kHz (-3dB). Similar to other of the company's amplifier models, these new amplifiers incorporate high performance features such as DC stability and wide bandwidth, well regulated and controlled AC output signals, full four-quadrant class AB all-solid-state output stages, DC offset adjustment with front panel metering, and auto- recovery shutdown for output-overpowering protection. The output stage sinks or sources current into reactive or resistive loads throughout the output voltage range. This is critical to attain the accurate output response and high slew rates as demanded by reactive loads.
