Miele & Cie. KG Invests in SEHO Manufacturing Line
New soldering system being delivered through second-story window.
Gutersloh, Germany — Miele & Cie. KG has invested in a new SEHO manufacturing line for its domestic appliances plant. The new SEHO THT manufacturing line had to be lifted by crane onto the customer's second-floor production line. Miele was confident in the quality of SEHO's machines and decided to equip its Gutersloh plant with the company's MWS 2300 wave soldering system with assembly and conveyor belts. It took two tower cranes to install the production line.
The new manufacturing line, approximately 28m long, not only incorporates the MWS 2300, but also a transport system for processing soldering frames, which have been adapted to Miele's special production needs. In addition to various assembly islands and backhaul conveyors, the concept encompasses check in and automatic outlet units, soldering frame lift stations, a double-pass flip station, slope lifts, right angle transfer conveyors and tilt stations. Miele now has an ergonomically designed assembly handling system which clearly optimizes the workflows in its Gutersloh plant.
