ZnSe Cylindrical Lenses from Laser Research
Cylindrical lenses for lasers.
Providence, RI — A line of ZnSe cylindrical lenses from Laser Research Optics are designed to be used to focus or expand laser beams for applications such as optical metrology, laser scanning, spectroscopy, and laser diode systems.
Cylindrical Lenses can be used to focus a laser beam into a thin line or expand the output of a laser diode into a symmetrical beam on one axis only. They are available in 1- and 2- in. (2.54 and 5.08mm) dia. sizes with ±0.005-in. (0.127mm) CT and have focal lengths from 5- to 30-in. (127 to 762mm) with ±0.5 percent tolerance.
Offered with A/R coatings that typically provide 0.5 percent max. reflectance per surface at 10.6µm and normal AOI, Laser Research CO2 Cylindrical Lenses have a 60-40 scratch-dig surface finish and 1 fringe surface accuracy at 633 nm. Centration error on these ZnSe lenses is 5 Arc-mins. max.
