Omron Offers Training Course Schedule
Schaumburg, IL — Omron Industrial Automation has released the 2010 schedule of training courses for PLC programming and advanced sensor and vision system basics. Courses are held at the company's North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois, near Chicago'S O'Hare airport.

Because of tight travel budgets and the difficulty OF getting away from daily job responsibilities, Omron has implemented a one-week proficiency approach that allows attendees to complete PLC programming basics and an intermediate level course in five days. The intensive hands-on courses present real-world automation challenges typically encountered in plant operations to prepare students to design, use and troubleshoot the systems efficiently. Students use the company's breakthrough, fully integrated CX-One automation software that programs PLCs, develops HMI projects, sets up networking, simulates system interactions, and configures motion controllers, drives and temperature controllers.

The course "Sensor Basics" is available July 13-15, August 17-19, September 14-16, October 19-21, November 9-11, and December 7-9. The course "Basic PLC Programming" is available July 19-21, August 23-25, September 20-22, October 25-27, November 15-17, and December 13-15. The course "Intermediate PLC Programming" is available July 22-23, August 26-27, September 23-24, October 28-29, November 18-19, and December 16-17.
