ProMik Launches Automatic Flash/IC Tester-Programmer
Flash testing and programming system.
Nuremberg, Germany — ProMik has launched a new fully automatic flash/IC testing station, the ICTP2000, which is suitable for both stand-alone offline operation as well as for the seamless embedding into SMT production lines. The ICTP2000 fills a void for parallel microcontroller testing and flashing.

The testing station measures only 71 x 83 x 169cm. It can perform three different operations on PCBs in parallel — in-circuit-tests, flash programming and functional tests. The tester can provide fast reconfiguration cycles for feeding a variety of PCBs. For programming flash memories the new testing station utilizes the company's MSP2000NET programming system, which can program two target devices simultaneously and easily expands with additional flash modules. The system programs microcontrollers, CPLDs, and high-density NOR/NAND flash memories and also offers connectivity for FlexRay, CAN and LIN applications while the I/O supports a number of different data formats (BDM, JTAG, SPI, SCI, I2C). The system's mainframe houses the 19-in. rack version of the programming system which accepts multiple MSP2000 modules. The company's FlashTASK® software ensures simple operation of the flash/IC testing station as well as software connectivity to the MES system and traceability software.
