SRC Names Scott Knote Federal Market Account Director
Syracuse, N.Y. –
SRC, formerly Syracuse Research Corporation, announced that Scott Knote has been appointed federal market account director, effective immediately. In this position, Knote will be responsible for new and existing business opportunities with the U.S. Army at Fort Monmouth, N.J., and Aberdeen, Md., and will be based out of the Aberdeen office.
 
“SRC is pleased to welcome Scott to our team, as he will be instrumental during the Army’s transition from Fort Monmouth to Aberdeen,” stated Bob Roberts, SRC’s president and CEO. “Over the course of his career, Scott has developed comprehensive expertise in providing services to the Army, as well as being honored with an Army Top 10 Invention award for a passive armor solution for defeat of fragmenting roadside bombs. I am confident that his solid experience in engineering and business development will be invaluable to our Company.”
 
Knote joins SRC’s team at a crucial time in the base realignment and closure from the U.S. Army at Fort Monmouth to Aberdeen Proving Ground. He brings to SRC an extensive background in product and systems engineering, design, integration, test and evaluation for the Army. Most recently, Knote was a senior associate for Booz Allen Hamilton where he was responsible for strategic opportunity identification, capture and proposal management. In addition to the Army Top 10 Invention award, Knote has also been recognized with the Federal Executive Board Outstanding Professional, Technical, Scientific and Program Support Silver award.
 
Knote is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, and is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in business administration and information systems and technology management from the University of Delaware. He also holds several certifications, including levels one, two and three of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative.
