Hannover Fair 2010 to Intro New Exhibits
Hannover, Germany — The world's leading showcase for industrial technology is staged annually in Hannover, Germany and the next Hannover Fair will be held from April 19-23, 2010, with Italy to be featured as its official Partner Country. The spotlight will be on industrial automation, energy, technology, industrial subcontracting and cutting-edge technologies.
A special group pavilion for U.S. energy companies — the U.S. Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Solutions Park — will debut in 2010 with support from the U.S. Department of Commerce and several U.S. renewable energy industry groups and media partners. This group pavilion offers U.S. energy companies an exclusive, high-visibility turnkey exhibit option.
Designed to maximize exposure for U.S. states, associations and individual companies, this pavilion will be a focus of attention and a central meeting point for international trade delegations eager to foster business and investment relations with industry leaders from the United States.
This all-inclusive group exhibit will be centrally located within the Renewables section of Hall 27, co-located with the World Energy Dialogue, and offers turnkey booth and workstation options. Each turnkey package includes exhibit construction, furniture, company name sign/graphics, Internet connection, electrical hookup, use of common lounge and meeting room, and more.
Participants will include individual companies who want to grow business outside of the U.S., increase international brand awareness, position products and solutions ahead of competitors, and take advantage of favorable currency exchange rate. States and economic development offices will promote sites for wind, solar, geothermal and hydro power generation, attract inward investment, expand tax base, promote exports, and create new jobs. Participating trade associations will be building international profiles, increase membership, offer added value to existing members, and will want to take advantage of branded, high-visibility presence at world's leading energy event.
According to Hannover Messe, the Hannover Fairgrounds has a total footprint of 10.8 million square feet, and is the world's largest exhibition site. The ultra-modern facility contains 27 separate exhibit halls (5.36 million square feet), additional free-standing pavilions, and 624,000 square feet of open air display area. The site provides a state-of-the-art convention center with 35 conference rooms and halls, 42 restaurants with seating for 14,000, parking facilities for 50,000 cars, banks, laundry service, a pharmacy, and full administrative support, and Munchner Halle — the largest trade fair beer hall and restaurant in the world. The CoilTechnica flagship fair is making its debut in 2010. It will include key topics such as coiled components and accessories, insulating materials, winding machines and production equipment, electronic components and accessories, as well as testing, measuring and diagnostic systems. The new international trade fair for the production of coils, transformers and electric motors, will be located in immediate proximity to Industrial Automation, Energy and Industrial Supply, and will be complemented by a meetings and presentations.
At Digital Factory 2010, there will be a main category dedicated to visualization for the first time. It will feature 3D visualizations, taking in everything from marketing photos based on the CAD model to virtual reality and high-end applications.
Innovative product marking and identification technologies ensure efficient and cost-effective production, logistics and maintenance. Product protection solutions safeguard a company?s cost-
effectiveness and innovative strength. Visitors to the Identification, Vision & Protection display category will be able to see the latest developments in identification solutions, coding and marking systems, RFID components and systems, image processing systems and product protection technologies.
