Compact Two-Way Power Divider from Narda
Microwave power divider.
Hauppauge, NY — Narda, an L-3 Communications company, has introduced the Model 3306-2, a two-way power divider that handles up to 100W CW from 6 to 18GHz into a 1.5:1 VSWR and meets military requirements, making it an excellent choice for a wide array of aerospace and defense as well as commercial applications.
The power divider is extremely compact considering its high RF power handling ability, measuring only 1.25 x 1.5 x 1.2-in. (31.75 x 38.1 x 30.5mm) without connectors, which are Type-N female. Its insertion loss is specified at less than 4.2dB from 6 to 10GHz and 4.5dB from 10 to 18GHz. Isolation is at least 15dB, and input and output VSWR are less than 1.8:1 at all ports.
Amplitude balance is maintained to 0.5dB or less and phase balance is maintained to 12° or less. The power divider has an operating temperature range of -54 to +85°C.
