Beckhoff Opens Sales & Engng. Center in Charlotte, NC
Charlotte, NC — Beckhoff Automation has opened a new Sales and Engineering Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The expansion comes as a response to heightened demand from Beckhoff customers in North and South Carolina for training courses, technical support and sales support.
Beckhoff Automation has also hired Ron Pryor as a Customer Service Engineer and Les Queen as an Application Engineer to be based at the Charlotte office. Ron Pryor worked previously for ATS Carolina and has a wealth of PLC, HMI and motion control experience to draw upon. Les Queen joined Beckhoff after working for Cross Automation and running his own systems integration company. He is highly skilled in developing product training courses and will be tasked with teaching classes at Beckhoff's Charlotte and Atlanta area facilities. The new facility is advantageously located near industrial sections of the Charlotte metro area and is a short distance from Charlotte Douglass International Airport as well as downtown. Measuring over 3,000 square feet, the office has engineering, sales and administration areas and a training room.
With the addition of the Charlotte facility, Beckhoff Automation now has seven regional offices in North America: the Burnsville, Minnesota North American headquarters (Minneapolis area); San Diego; Duluth, Georgia. (Atlanta area); Mill Creek, Washington (Seattle area); Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; and Guelph, Ontario (Toronto area).
