Superior Electric Intros New AC Regulator Line

Farmington, CT — Superior Electric has introduced a new product line of STABILINE
AC Automatic Voltage Regulators to its comprehensive family of power quality solutions. The new BVR Series Voltage Regulators are well suited for mission-critical and entire facility protection from voltage sags, surges and sustained under and over-voltage electrical service conditions.
New (patent pending), solid-state "step" regulating design eliminates full load-carrying transformers and servo-motor control schemes. Compact BVR package presents up to 50 percent smaller footprint and is 40 percent lighter than other regulating solutions now being offered.
Models to be offered in standard Service Entrance and Distribution Panel electrical service configurations offer 3 phase voltages of 208Y/120VAC, 60Hz in load amperage models of 100, 200, 400 and 600Amps; and 3 phase voltages of 480Y/277VAC, 60Hz and 380Y/220 to 415Y/240VAC, 50Hz in load amperage models of 100, 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1200Amps
All BVR Series units are Individual Phase Control scheme to offer maximum protection to all connected loads, and are offered in two standard Input Voltage Range Correction styles — Narrow Range ±15 percent of nominal Input Voltage, and Output Accuracy adjustable from 1 percent to 3 percent; Wide Range ±30 percent of nominal Input Voltage, and Output Accuracy adjustable from 2 percent to 6 percent. Systems are supplied in standalone 19-in. rack cabinets.
