AMTI Acquisition Expands Ultralife's Military Offerings
Newark, NY — The March 2009 acquisition of AMTI adds yet another dimension to Ultralife Corp.'s global capabilities to provide the warfighter with a one source, many solutions resource. Ultralife, which started as a battery manufacturer, has continually expanded its capabilities for powering communications. The company's Government and Defense Group harnesses the collective design and engineering expertise of multiple operating units into one focused resource for the special operations community.
Products and services now range from batteries to tactical communications, cables, connectors, portable and standby power solutions and communication system integration. From the individual soldier to command and control, from man-pack kits to C4ISR integration, from special operations to conventional military, Ultralife offers "one source, many solutions."
AMTI's acquisition expands Ultralife's capabilities especially in the area of radio amplifiers. With the goal of simplifying and streamlining equipment acquisition for the soldier, AMTI has pioneered a "packaged solution" approach especially in the area of manpack portable amplifiers.
