E-Switch Intros SMT Snap Action Switch
Snap-action switches for SMT.
Minneapolis, MN — E-Switch has introduced the newest snap action switch in its product portfolio, the TS2 series, subminiature switch with surface mount termination. Its small package size is designed for higher reliability applications and because of its unique SMT design, will be popular on many board-level applications.
Specifications include: mechanical life — 3,000,000 cycles min., contact rating — 0.1A at 125VAC or 48VDC, contact resistance — 300mΩ (initial max) at 5VDC, insulation resistance — 100MΩ (Min. at@ 500VDC), dielectric strength — 1,000V for 1 min., operating temperature — -25 to +85°C, bounce — 5msec max. Applications for the snap action switch include testing and instrumentation, timing controls, gaming/vending machines, and the appliance and white goods markets.
