Apem's CH Products: Hall Effect Joystick
Hall effect joystick controller.
Vista, CA β CH Products, an APEM company, is offering its HFX Single Axis Throttle β a heavy-duty Hall effect joystick that reportedly delivers precise proportional one-axis control.
The HFX uses "friction-clutch" centering, meaning the handle maintains the position set by the operator. The throttle is also available with up to three electrical micro switches as well as seven mechanical detents, which provide positive locations for the handle's travel.
Especially well suited for safety critical applications such as scissor lifts, work platforms, cranes, agricultural, mining and forestry equipment, the throttle utilizes non-contact Hall effect technology and has been rated for more than 10 million operations.
