Roland Heitmann joins baumann Automation
Amberg, Germany — Roland Heitmann has joined baumann Automation as the Director of Business Development. baumann Automation provides comprehensive assembly solutions for the automotive, telecommunications and life science industries. Roland's focus will be on helping to expand this core business particularly in the Americas, while investigating new opportunities in the semiconductor and rapidly developing solar market.

Roland comes to baumann Automation from Unovis Solutions, a provider of innovative process and assembly solutions for the semiconductor, automotive, and medical industries. In addition, Roland has over 20 years experience in the semiconductor, advanced assembly and automation fields, and has held various technical and management positions both in Europe and North America at IBM, Digital Equipment, ESEC, Kulicke & Soffa Industries, and Universal Instruments.
