2E SysCom Intros Snap Together Modules
Snap-together power modules.
Framingham, MA — 2E SysCom has introduced EMSP 20 A/pin Snap Together Power Modules. The 2 and 3 pin modules snap together to make custom 20 A/pin powerstrips. Based on the DIN 41612 specifications, the EMSP connector is available as 2 and 3 pin modules which snap together to provide "build it yourself" custom 20 A/pin power modules.
The backplane half is the female connector which provides complete protection for hot pins. The male connector solder pins are at 90° to the mating pins and have 2 pins per contact on the board side for hole diameters of 1.6mm. The plastic body of both male and female connectors are made with molded-in mounting pins used for securely locating the connector on the PC board prior to the reflow solder process.
The company supplies a variety of DIN style power connectors, including a mixed pin F24 H7 connector which provides 24 6Amp contacts and 7 contacts at 15Amp each.
