RPS Automation Releases New Programming Software
Spokane Valley, WA — RPS Automation LLC has introduced the RPS programming software CamConductor 2.5. This latest version of the company's popular program, which is in use at hundreds of RPS customer sites, enables rapid and easy programming of selective soldering solutions for PC board through-hole soldering using the company's selective soldering equipment.

The software provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface, the capability to program offline and the flexibility to use a variety of PCB input types including JPEG, TIFF, Gerber and CAD.

According to the company, Version 2.5 is the culmination of months of programming thousands of hours of customer feedback. As a result, it represents a major software upgrade and includes an array of advancements, that include easier programming, improved system performance, and superior graphical interface

New capabilities include .Net Platform CamConductor 2.5 is optimized for the Microsoft® .Net platform, a next generation platform that enables easy enhancement, upgrade and migration. The software provides easier programming, improved step and repeat, universal pump and axis offset parameters, vertical and horizontal point and path alignment. Its global standards let the user easily toggle between millimeter and inch measurement standards.

There is seamless integration with RPS Maestro runtime programs, and it is backwards compatible with all prior process programs, permitting access, run and edit.

Finally, its ease of review provides transparent flux/solder paths, printing the final board image and solder path/points, with full tree view control to inspect attributes of all solder points.
