Fluid Research: New System for Viscous Materials
Viscous pump system.
Tustin, CA — Fluid Research Corporation has introduced the new Advantage CPM solution to dispense thick, pasty materials. This solution uses the company's eccentric screw pump technology, offering both positive displacement and pulsation-free flow of materials — a combination that nearly doubles the production output of other existing thick pasty systems.
The new system is designed to offer higher flow with decreased pressure, assuring improved delivery of pastes like two-component urethane or epoxy resin systems. It will pump paste as fast as it can be laid down.
The prototyping industry has special needs, involving the dispensing of thick, viscous pastes, a solution being provided by Fluid Research for a number of years. The low pressure pump-down follower plate system empties material drums with minimal waste.
The company has also released its new website, developed other new dispensing equipment, acquired a new facility to triple its manufacturing floor space, and added new management staff.
