Astrodyne Medical Grade Power Supplies Medical grade switching power supplies. Mansfield, MA — Astrodyne Corporation has introduced the PMMK320 line of high density switching power supplies that provide output power of 320 Watts with active PFC. All models accept universal input from 90-264VAC and 6 models provide single outputs from 5VDC to 48VDC. The power supplies are designed to meet the space and performance parameters needed in medical and dental instrumentation and systems. The new power supplies are approved for UL/EN60606-1 medical safety specifications. Utilizing high density SMT construction and providing power densities of up to 6 Watts/in.3, the supplies offer a rugged aluminum enclosure with fan included and screw terminals for input/output connections. The power supplies may be ordered in either of two mounting options: fully enclosed or fully enclosed with DIN Rail mounts. All models include short-circuit, over-voltage and over-current protection and an integral power-good LED indicator. The PMMK320 series operates at 100 percent capability over the temperature range of -10 to 50°C. Dimensions are 7.99 X 3.86 X 1.57-in. and all models have remote ON/OFF and remote sense to 0.5V compensation. Commercial (PMK320) UL/EN60950-1 versions are also available.
