Mill-Max: Spring-loaded Connectors Spring-loaded connectors. Oyster Bay, NY — Mill-Max's Spring-loaded Connectors Line includes 3 families of single and double row strip assemblies and 31 discrete contacts. The line of spring-loaded connectors provide a reliable electrical connection in the most rigorous environments — even when the power is on shock or vibration will not create spurious signals. For maximum continuity, the connectors use precision-machined gold-plated components and a low-resistance spring to maintain a consistent electrical path. For maximum stability, the connectors are tested to a minimum of 50G shock and 10G vibration with no spikes >1µs and >1.15V with 0.5A applied. According to the company, after 1,000,000 cycles, the connectors are still electrically silent. For flexibility, there are three families of single and double row strip assemblies for 0.100-in. mounting grid. Low and high profile surface mount styles are available in sizes from 0.137 to 0.430-in. on carrier tape and a thru-hole style for manual placement. In addition, there is a choice of 31 discrete spring-loaded contacts for use in customer specific assemblies, while other sizes are available for specific individual applications.
