Vitronics Soltec Now Part of ITW
Stratham, NH — Vitronics Soltec, a global supplier of electronics soldering equipment and technology, has been acquired by Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE:ITW). ITW has acquired all of the outstanding shares of VS Acquisition Holding Inc., the parent company of Vitronics Soltec Corp. VS Acquisition Holding Inc. will be a wholly owned business unit of ITW.
ITW will continue to operate VS Acquisition Holding Inc. as a separate business under the Vitronics Soltec brand name. In making the announcement, Aaron Saxton, President of Vitronics Soltec, said, "We are pleased to now be part of ITW, a dynamic, global diversified manufacturer and technology company with an excellent long term track record. This acquisition will allow Vitronics Soltec to continue its growth plans as well as fortify its leadership position in providing the best, most innovative soldering technology."
