3D Inspection Technology Leader Koh Young Wins Vision Award
Las Vegas, NV — 3D inspection technology leader Koh Young has won a coveted Vision Award for its unusual, innovative 3D measurement and inspection technology at the 16th Annual SMT Vision Awards presentation at the IPC/APEX show and symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday, April 2. Koh Young won one of two awards presented in the "Inspection" category, one of 17 categories total.

There were multiple companies in that category competing for this special award. Koh Young's winner was its new ASPIRE next generation 3D In-line solder paste inspection system, offering true 100 percent 3D solder paste measurement based on a patented shadow-free measurement technology.

In making the announcement, Dr. Kwangill Koh, CEO, said, "We are pleased to receive this very significant recognition, and confirmation, of our efforts to develop better, more accurate technology for solder paste measurement as our company expands into the global marketplace. Our entire team is both gratified and energized by this very special honor."

VISION Awards recognize innovation and leadership across the electronics assembly supply chain, including advanced materials, sophisticated software, and complex equipment that advance the industry of PCB manufacturing. Winners and finalists were recognized for their contributions to the industry in each award category.
