American Bright Intros LED Drop-In Fluorescent Replacement
LED drop-in replacement for fluorescents.
Chino, CA — American Bright Lighting, Inc. has introduced its UL Listed (UL file number E315644) SimpleTube LED replacement lamp capable of replacing inefficient T-8 fluorescent tubes in large-scale retail refrigerators and freezers. The new lamp offers a 60 percent power savings over the commonly used fluorescent tube ballast combinations and, due to lower heat emissions, reduces strain and demand on refrigeration compressors and controls.

Additional benefits of the new SimpleTube lamps are exceptionally longer lifetime, and significantly better lumen maintenance and light quality over the service life.

Unlike fluorescent lamps which contain significant amounts of mercury and in various areas must be disposed of as hazardous waste via a fluorescent recycling firm, SimpleTube lamps are 100 percent RoHS compliant, meeting the most stringent global standards for toxin-free materials and manufacturing processes. The toxin-free nature of solid state lamps also renders accidental breakage concerns a thing of the past. When a fluorescent tube is broken in a freezer or refrigerated retail space, all the contents must be discarded, which carries a high cost in not only lost product, but also in lost productivity.
