Mouser Now Globally Distributing Arcotronics Capacitors
Mansfield, TX — Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now globally distributing products from Arcotronics Group, a KEMET company. Arcotronics Group specializes in film and electrolytic capacitors for a variety of markets including automotive, industrial, telecommunications, entertainment, and more. "Adding Arcotronics Group to the Mouser linecard enhances our capacitor product offering and allows us to honor our commitment to deliver high quality products to the design engineering community," McConnell said.

Arcotronics Group manufactures a variety of film capacitors including polyester, polypropylene, and SMD versions. Polyester film capacitors have a very wide operating temperature range, high dielectric constant, excellent self-healing properties, and a very good box size/capacitance ratio. Polypropylene film capacitors have a very low dissipation factor, very low dielectric absorption, very high insulation resistance, excellent self-healing properties, and very good stability. The broad range of SMD film capacitors come in a variety of sizes and feature excellent stability versus temperature, high reliability, low ESR, no piezoelectric effect, and no cracking. The addition of Arcotronics to KEMET's portfolio complements and broadens the existing film capacitor product line previously acquired from Evox Rifa.
