Coleman Cable to Expand Distribution Facility
Waukegan, IL β€” Coleman Cable, Inc. (Nasdaq: CCIX) is expanding its distribution capabilities by securing a new 500,000 square foot distribution center in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The leased facility is located on approximately 28 acres of land and contains approximately 490,000 square feet of warehouse space, 12,000 square feet of office space, and 56 exterior truck docks. The new facility is expected to open by May first.

In addition to providing added capacity to accommodate the company's growth plans, the new distribution facility will allow consolidation of existing distribution facilities currently located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and two in Illinois β€” in Gurnee and Waukegan.

The transition from the three centers currently in operation will take place over the next several months and is expected to be transparent for the company's customers.
