CAO Group Names Dr. Gary Maag GM of Optoelectronics
West Jordan, UT — Responding to explosive growth in all three of its major optoelectronic market sectors, CAO Group has promoted Dr. Gary Maag to General Manager of its Optoelectronics Division, with overall responsibility for the division's three business units: components, solid state signage, and solid state lighting.

Dr. Maag had been Director of the Signage Business Unit since joining the company early last year from Autometer, specialty suppliers to the automotive industry, a major market for CAO components and LED-PCB assemblies. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years in manufacturing operations for a medical diagnostics company, and 10 years in the HR/Training department at Nestle Foods.
