Monticello, MN — Wiha Tools has introduced a new line of crimping and stripping tools, with over 65 professional tools. These include PortaCrimp tools, modular plug tools, fixed crimpers, cable strippers, jacket strippers, and specialized strippers for numerous electronic assembly and installation situations. The PortaCrimp Tools, for example, are designed to give the user full visibility of the crimping process.

Interchangeable crimp dies are kept together with a special pin to simplify handling; 22 dies are available along with a ratcheting frame. Modular Plug Tools include a parallel action ratchet crimp tool designed to provide the best crimp without compromise on modular plug terminals.

Fixed crimpers consist of a precision ratchet crimp tool designed to provide consistent and reliable crimp connections; there are 16 models to choose from.

Cable strippers include a self-adjusting cut and strip tool that is capable of stripping wires from 34 to 8 AWG without adjustment. Other stripping tools include a jacket stripper — a professional stripping tool for cables of all insulation types with positive locking positions for circular, lengthways and spiral strips.
