Compact power supply.
Wrentham, MA — Power Sources Unlimited is introducing the NXT-225 Series of ultra small (3 x 5 x 1.5-in.) AC/DC power supplies which pack 225W of power into an industry leading 10W/-in.3 power density. Called the NXT-225 Series, the compact supplies have a power factor corrected, universal 90-264VAC input and fit easily into 1U high OEM applications or any application where space is critical.

Eight models provide adjustable, single outputs from 2.5VDC to 48VDC, with isolated 5VDC standby power available as an option. Efficiency is 85 percent typical, line and load regulation are 0.5 percent, and operating temperatures are up to +70°C with airflow. Comprehensive protection circuitry is inherent in the power supply's design. Available options are remote inhibit/enable, cover and chassis, and single wire load sharing, and load-sharing evaluation boards are also available.

The units provide worldwide safety compliance to both EN60101-1 (Medical) and EN60950-1 (Information Technology Equipment) standards, RoHS compliance, a 2-year warranty and a high MTBF.
