Pre-Wired 1-Axis Strain Gages from Omega
Stamford, CT — Omega® pre-wired strain gages are available in a variety of different models to cover most strain measurement applications. Encapsulated for added durability, the measuring grid is formed by etching Constantan foil, which is then completely sealed in a carrier medium composed of polyimide film. The rugged, flexible general purpose strain gages are suitable for static and dynamic measurement.

They can be used within a broad temperature range and can be affixed with cold or hot curing adhesives. Either 2-wire or 3-wire termination styles are available with either 3-foot or 9-foot leads. Standard strain gages have temperature coefficients matched to either steel or aluminum. The KFG Series is especially useful in automotive testing, test labs and structural analysis. The RoHS-compliant gages are also effective in the classroom and can be used for instructional purposes.
