Etco: UL Male Quick Connect Tab
Push-on tabs.
Warwick, RI — New from ETCO Incorporated is a UL male tab that accepts traditional "push on" quick-connects as well as the company's new patented FlatSnap
®
vibration-resistant, snap-in unisex connector. The ETCO Combination UL Male Tab functions exactly the same as a traditional male tab, but also accepts the company's FlatSnap snap-in unisex connector which cannot pull apart during assembly and shipping.
Requiring a push-pull motion and only 4 lbs. of force to install, the connector locks onto the tab and reduces service incident reports (SIR).
Providing a greater surface contact area than conventional UL male tabs, the combination UL male tab exhibits significant performance advantages when tested per UL 310.
It is available in 0.032 x 0250-in. as well as other sizes made from nickel plated steel and various high temperature alloys. Applications include terminal blocks, switches, PC boards, and heating elements.
