EAO Intros Rugged Industrial Grade Switches
Flush-mount industrial-grade switches.
Milford, CT — EAO has introduced the extremely low profile Series 84 range of rugged, industrial switches and indicators. The switches have a minimally low back-of-panel depth thus making them especially suited for applications where space is restricted. Plus, being just 2.0mm above the front panel, these units complement any contemporary control panel used in both industrial and commercial applications.
The new products benefit from sealing ratings of IP67 (NEMA 4&13) standards. This protection against the penetration of dust and moisture allows for use in applications in hazardous environments. The switches flush mount to the panel by utilizing a 22.5mm mounting hole. Design features include lenses that are available in anodized aluminum with illumination windows, or with plastic surrounds. High visibility is achieved through single or multi-chip LEDs. Color options of both lenses and LEDs include crisp blue and white, as well as traditional red, yellow, and green. Connection is achieved either by a 300mm ribbon cable or plug-in terminals.
A short-travel switching system with 2 independent contact points ensures tactile operation and guarantees reliable switching, even under light loads. With maximum ratings of 42V/100mA, these switches are especially suited for PLC level signals.
The modular range consists of pushbuttons, indicators, and a new and unique illuminated EN418 rated "tease proof" emergency stop switch.
