CIT: New Switch Lighting Options
Lighted pushbutton switch.
Minneapolis, MN — CIT Relay & Switch is offering the LPH Series bi-color, lighted pushbutton switch with numerous new cap options. Available with DPDT or 4PDT switch function, this versatile switch is available in both momentary and latching styles. The LED color options available are red, green, yellow and blue. Design engineers have a wide range of cap choices for the switches.

They can choose the switch without a cap, a clear cap in two sizes or a misty silver style with 10 laser etching options.

Switch specifications include a tested electrical life of 20k cycles with electrical rating of 300mA at 30VDC. Insulation resistance is 100MΩ minimum. The dielectric strength of the LPH Series 1000V rms minimum with insulation resistance of >100MΩ minimum. Actuation force is 300 ±100gf with travel of 3.3 ±0.25mm.

Operating and storage temperature is -40 to +85°C. The actuator is polycarbonate, and the housing is 6/6 nylon. The base is polybutylene terephthalate with stainless steel spring. The contacts are silver plated phosphor bronze with silver plated brass terminals.

Switch applications include computers and computer peripherals, telecommunications, security, test equipment, instrumentation, audio and medical.
