Komax: Auto Crimping with Belt Drive
Automatic crimping system.
Buffalo Grove, IL — Komax Corporation's Gamma 333 PC-B automatic crimping system has three workstations to process double crimps with up to three different terminals, seals, sleeves, plus tinning and inkjet marking — to provide greater versatility. The unit has a belt drive for maximum transport force and gentle handling of sensitive wires such as halogen-free conductors.
All processes are set up and monitored with the company's TopWin
user interface including ink-jet marking, machine networking, seal detection and crimp force analysis (CFA). A quick-clamping system lets the operator quickly and easily change crimping applicators, without tools. Automatic wire thread-in, batch sorting, programmable wire size and strip length settings reportedly combine to make the crimper an operator-friendly unit.
