IP Systems: Bench Cabinet for Fumes and Vapors
Vented safety cabinet.
Suwanee, GA — IP Systems' bench cabinet EC1800 is a low-cost solution for cleaning up fumes and vapors. Many electronics industry assembly processes require the use of harsh chemicals which the worker needs to be protected from. The cleaning of boards with solvents or spraying of conformal coating are the most common processes where harmful substances are released into the breathing area of the worker.
Such fumes are not only a nuisance but also pose a significant health hazard and reduce overall productivity.
The bench cabinet is hygienically the best protection for the worker. When applying the chemicals within the cabinet, all fumes are collected and vented outside or into a separate filtration system. The cabinet prevents cross drafts from fans or HVAC systems carry the polluted air to other places.
A clear lid provides maximum visibility and shields the worker from breathing in the fumes. The cabinet can also be used for larger parts as the lid is hinged and can be opened easily.
The cabinet's overall size is 30 x 20 x 22-in. It fits on most benches and does not require a separate stand.
