IPC Midwest Slated for September
Bannockburn, IL — When IPC members asked for a cost-effective, regional event in the Midwest, the IPC Midwest Conference and Exhibition was born. Based on the success of last year's show — qualified show traffic, dozens of technical sessions and courses, and high lead volumes, IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries
®
will present a repeat performance.
This year's IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition will take place September 24-25 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL. As we go to press, the exhibition is nearly 60 percent sold with 75 exhibitors on board, including new and returning industry companies. DEK, MYDATA, Nihon Superior, SPEA, Europlacer North America, Fuji America, Juki Automation Systems and Uyemura are just a few of the exhibitors that have signed contracts.
Exhibit space will encompass approximately 27,500 square feet of the convention center floor and more than 1,200 participants are expected to take in the show. Several hundred will attend standards development meetings, technical conference sessions and professional developments courses.
According to Maria Labriola, IPC Midwest account executive, much of the show's success was based on the perfect mix of manufacturers, suppliers and qualified industry executives ready to specify and purchase equipment and materials. "Last year, everyone was ready to roll up their sleeves and get down to business and the show offered a great opportunity to do so. This year should prove no different. Attendees can network on the show floor and further hone their technical skills all in one venue."
