Sunstone Releases Updated Software
PC board designed with new software.
Mulino, OR — Sunstone Circuits has released PCB123™ version 3.0 — the next generation of its complete circuit board design solution for the electronics design industry. As with all previous versions, PC board123 remains free. The updated software

provides the additional design capabilities that PC board designers need. Enhancements include real-time, bi-directional views of layout and schematic; full customization via the new Software Development Kit.The software also provides for dynamic bill of materials (BOM) that is generated and updated as the user designs; 3D design "fly through" viewing features; and more fabrication options and services.As a part of the Sunstone ECOsystem, PC board123 version 3.0 brings a seamless design flow to design and assembly services. This is a strategic resource that will consolidate and improve the PC board prototyping process for designers from concept-to-delivery.

The ECOsystem integrates the four discrete segments of PC board prototyping: knowledge — PC board designer expertise; tools — design packages and software; libraries and parts — sourcing and tracking of PC board components; and fabrication — manufacturing capability and expertise.
