JOT Automation Intros Flexible Router
Flexible routing system.
Irving, TX — New from JOT Automation, the J501-45 Maxi-router joins a wide range of routers including the Mini and High-speed router. The new machine was built and designed in response to a need for more flexible inline depaneling systems. It supports the large variety of electronics industry manufacturing process areas like test and assembly lines or cells.
The input conveyor has a buffer segment before milling to reduce PC board handling time. The spindle located in the underside of the PC board is connected to an efficient dust removing system. It is also equipped with a continuous scrap part outfeeding system and a DXF converter as well as a camera for teaching the cutting points on the PC board. The same graphical user interface is implemented across all of the JOT Automation robot cells. The working area can vary from 50 x 50mm to 470 x 470mm.
The upper robot is equipped with a total of 4 servo-motor driven axes which makes pick and placement possible even for PC boards with complicated contours. There are many options available as well as customer specific solutions which can be designed and manufactured to meet customers needs.
