Ultravolt Improves Power Supply Ripple Specs
Power supply modules.
Ronkonkoma, NY — UltraVolt, Inc. has made significant improvements in the ripple specifications of its 10A-25A Series and its 30A-40A Series modules. Ripple on high-voltage power supplies with 10kV to 40kV output has been reduced by 20 percent to 80 percent vs. the previous specifications, giving engineers optimized precision while reducing the need for additional filtration. The company improved the characteristics of the modules while maintaining the existing compact package size. This change improves the performance of 40 models of high-voltage converters and hundreds of configurations.

The company's standard-product high-voltage DC-to-DC power converters have a unique, fixed-frequency, forward converter high voltage topology. The products provide wide input and output ranges, while retaining excellent stability and efficiencies up to 92 percent.
