Edge-Mount Metal Gaskets from OmegaShielding
Clip-on edge-mount metal gaskets.
Randolph, NJ — Omega Shielding Products has introduced a high-performance, copper alloy EMI shielding and electrical contact gasket for thin, edge-mount installations commonly found in the telecom industry. The 99-490-06 gasket comes standard in 12-in. (305mm) strips with 40 fingers each and a bright finish. Ten additional surface finish and plating options are available to protect against oxidation when dissimilar metal surfaces make contact under harsh environmental conditions.

The clip-on style easily mounts to flanges ranging from 0.030 to 0.050-in. and remains securely in place with built-in gripping lances. The gasket accepts compression forces in the perpendicular direction by depressing spring arms.
