Etco: Snap-In PC board Terminals
Snap-in terminals anchor to PC board.
Warwick, RI — A line of snap-in terminals that are designed to insert easily into printed circuit boards and remain securely in place during soldering and assembly operations is available from ETCO Inc. The Snap-In Terminals have a split barrel design that requires low insertion force and provides spring retention to stay put during assembly and soldering operations.
Using same-direction crimp ears for ease of use with manual or fully automated wire processing equipment, the terminals are suitable for attachment to 20-18 AWG wire sizes.
Supplied 8,000 parts per reel, the terminals are made from a high conductivity zirconium-copper alloy that resists softening and keeps its shape during thermal cycling up to 500°C for a few seconds and 350°C for several minutes. A wide range of automated, high speed wire attachment and terminal insertion equipment is also offered.
