Keystone: Quick-Fit PCB Terminal
Quick fit female PCB terminal.
Astoria, NY — A new, quick-fit female PC board terminal which accepts male terminals for direct vertical or horizontal entry is the latest cost-effective component from Keystone Electronics Corp. This rugged device has an "anti-rock" design to assure increased PC board mounting strength. It also helps to simplify the board design process and enhances flexibility for board layout and component placement.
This innovative design also helps keep terminals perpendicular to the PC board, thus maintaining relative position, during and permanently after, wave soldering.
Manufactured from sturdy tin-nickel-plated brass, the terminals are constructed to maintain integrity under repeated mating cycles. The universal entry terminal, (Cat. #3557) accepts 0.110-in. (2.8mm) to 0.250-in. (6.4mm) male, quick fit counterparts. The versatility of this terminal is not limited to use as a female quick-fit terminal. It may also be used as a fuse clip for most "Auto-Blade" style fuses. Supplied in bulk quantities, the new quick-fit female terminals are delivered from stock through the company's global distribution network.
