CIT Intros 0.12 watt Submin Relay
Sub-miniature relays.
Minneapolis, MN — CIT Relay & Switch has introduced its RoHS compliant, 0.12 watt J112 Series sub-miniature relay. This UL/CUL certified relay offers SPST NO contacts. It is extremely narrow at 5.3mm, making it especially suited for high density mounting. Two pin layout configurations are available on this versatile relay. The J112 offers 5.08mm spacing between terminal pin-out of the switch function with the J112K offers 7.62mm spacing.

The relay has ultra low power consumption and offers very high sensitivity. Sealing is standard. The versatile relay is available with 5 amp contact rating at 250VAC resistive or 30VDC resistive. Coil voltage options are 5, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24VDC.

The electrical life at rated load is typically 100k cycles with mechanical life of 10Mcycles typically. Insulation resistance is 100MΩ minimum at 500VDC. Dielectric strength, coil to contact is 2000V rms minimum at sea level with contact-to-contact at 1000V rms minimum at sea level.

The relay offers shock resistance of 100m/s2 for 11 minutes with vibration resistance of 1.50mm double amplitude 10~40Hz. The copper alloy terminal strength is 5N. The operating temperature is a-40 to +85°C with a storage temperature of -40 to +155°C. Solderability is 260°C for 5 seconds.

The relay measures 20.2 x 5.3 x 12.8mm and weighs 3g. It is especially suited for use in telecommunications, security, intercom, audio visual and control boards.
