IDTechEx Hosts Biggest Turnout Ever
Cambridge, MA — The world's largest event on Printed Electronics — IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA 2007, hosted 557 delegates and 50 exhibitors in San Francisco in November. Over 75 presentations covered the full breadth of these new electronics including photovoltaics, logic and memory, displays, materials and manufacturing techniques and their application, with many world first announcements.

This year the impact of inorganic electronics was clear; these are already being commercialized in many different ways from displays to photovoltaics, and often used in conjunction with organic electronic devices.

Record attendance — more than any other show ever held on the topic — was achieved by featuring world first presentations, such as the CEO of Kovio, and by focusing on the application of printed electronics. Delegates included potential users from consumer packaged goods companies, healthcare providers, transport administrators and many other vertical sectors.
