Multi-Seals Intros Preform Loader
Preform loader.
Manchester, CT — The Uni-Matic epoxy preform loader, available through Multi-Seals, Inc. provides an inexpensive, cost-effective method for loading high volumes of epoxy preforms. Depending upon component and preform geometry, the Uni-Matic feeds at rates of 200 to 600 preforms per minute with little or no operator training. The loader incorporates a vibratory bowl and gravity in-line track with escapement.

The loader is especially suitable for switches, connectors, EMI/RF filters, and other components with prominent terminals. The Uni-Matic may also be used as a sub-component to a fully automatic feeder system for streamlining in-house sealing production. The company's Uni-form™ epoxy preforms are one-part epoxy resins that are solid at room temperature. When heated, they melt and cure, forming a consistent seal that protects components.
